ProductivIA

A technology that powers education, from classrooms to campuses

ProductivIA is a Québec-built artificial intelligence platform designed to accelerate teaching and administration—without sacrificing compliance or ease of use. Here, AI is neither opaque nor risky: it becomes a concrete lever to learn, teach, and manage better — right now, with your institutional accounts.

AI for Education

Tools designed for instructors and learners

ProductivIA Education interface

With ProductivIA Education, AI is not a gimmick: it’s a tool that integrates into your practice, freeing up time for what truly matters — human connection and student support.

In education, every minute counts and every learner has specific needs: ProductivIA Education provides guided tools that turn your pedagogical intentions into concrete outcomes. Instead of guessing generic prompts, your users (instructors, departments, administrators) choose a use type (course plan, formative assessment, feedback, reading synthesis, tutoring), specify the level, pedagogical constraints, and output format. Each tool automatically builds a structured brief and selects the optimal engine (cost/power/latency) for a useful answer on the very first draft — saving time, meeting learning objectives, and reducing teachers’ cognitive load.

explore_nearby

Transparent hybrid architecture

Each request is first handled by Matania, our sovereign orchestration layer, enriched with Québec data and practices. When a task requires it, we switch to world-class models — in full transparency. This pragmatic approach allows us to deliver the best possible pedagogical response while progressively building our technological autonomy.

shield

Governance and hosting preference

Your institution can prioritize the use of local models and servers (hosted in Québec or in your own infrastructure) and disable those that don’t fit internal policy or data-location requirements. This governance enhances compliance with personal-information protection rules and simplifies day-to-day use.

Your institutional rules, applied everywhere

Broadcast your academic culture in every generated output.

Define global rules: tone (courteous/professional), references to cite, expected formats (APA/MLA), elements to highlight (campus services), vocabulary to avoid, legal mentions. All tools inherit these guidelines: consistent outputs, fewer edits, higher quality for students, instructors, and administration alike.

rule

Example rules

  • Style: clear, inclusive, respectful
  • Citations: always propose suggested sources
  • Format: PDF + bullet-point outline + accessible version
  • Local context: CAD currency, network norms and terms
explosion

Applications by profile

Students — toward AI that supports learning without replacing effort

Offer guided assistance, not a “turnkey” answer. ProductivIA Education lets you configure resource access by profile, hide certain responses, and provide only hints during evaluation phases. This way, AI supports reasoning, shows the path, and preserves academic integrity while reducing grading burden.

school

Student Assistant

The tool provides explanations, clarifies concepts, and guides step-by-step — without delivering the raw solution. It respects pedagogical guidelines (citation, style, rubric) and adjusts by profile: some students receive hints or partial steps rather than complete answers, according to the instructor’s strategy.

fact_check

Text checking

Submitted text is reviewed: mistakes, inconsistencies, or tone breaks are flagged with explanatory suggestions rather than direct corrections. Students see what to improve and can return with a revised version.

spellcheck

Reformulation

Students can request a clearer or more concise version while preserving the original facts. The system offers a refined draft and, if configured, displays proposed changes transparently so they understand the adjustments.

description

Document summary & analysis

From a text, the tool extracts key ideas, structures arguments, and compares multiple sources. If needed, it first proposes an outline or guiding questions, then completes progressively according to configured access permissions.

search

Research & source selection

The tool finds relevant sources based on the topic and pedagogical constraints. It can first propose a limited or partial bibliography that the student later expands as needed.

translate

Translation & adaptation

Texts in English or other languages are translated in a localized style that respects institutional guidelines. If the context requires it, only partial versions or annotated excerpts are provided to encourage analysis.

draw

Guided writing (memos, reports, emails)

Given a topic and guidelines, the tool proposes an outline, drafts sections with varying detail according to access rights, adjusts tone, and structures the document to academic expectations.

code

Code help & code translation

The tool guides students through algorithms, identifies potential errors, or converts between languages. If configured, it first provides hints or intermediate comments before suggesting a complete solution.

quiz

Self-assessment (MCQ)

The system generates level-appropriate questions and provides gradual feedback: hints first, then validation or full explanation according to the chosen pedagogy.

image_search

Image analysis & text extraction

By scanning an image or PDF, the tool extracts useful text or visual elements. If required, only annotated parts or landmarks are provided, according to configured access rights.

calculate

Calculation & conversions

The tool performs requested calculations and conversions, but—depending on permissions—it can first guide the approach or propose intermediate steps before revealing the final result.

data_exploration

Data analysis

The tool helps synthesize data: simple statistics, trends, interpretable visualizations. In restricted mode, it first guides understanding before presenting complete results.

Instructors — amplify your pedagogical impact

Your didactic choices (objectives, criteria, differentiation) and your institution’s guidelines (inclusivity, tone, citations) are applied across all tools.

Frequently asked questions

help

How do we get started, concretely?

Sign in with an institutional email, optionally invite collaborators/students, set a few institutional rules, then use the tools (writing, checking, translation, MCQs…). No technical integration is required to begin.

policy

Is it compatible with our responsible-AI policies?

Yes. ProductivIA enforces your rules: transparency, source citation, ethical-use reminders. Multi-model governance also helps align hosting and practices with your requirements.

integration_instructions

Do we need to integrate with other tools?

Not to start. You can copy/paste or export results (text, common formats). We can later connect ProductivIA to your identity management (e.g., SSO) if you wish.

diversity_3

How do we avoid plagiarism?

Tools encourage understanding and citation: outline, step-by-step explanation, suggested bibliography. Instructors stay in control (instructions, rubrics) and can require sources/steps to promote authentic learning.

lock

Where does our data go?

Content is always stored in Québec, in certified infrastructures fully under our control. Most requests are processed here on our Québec servers — or, if you prefer, on your own server. If a computation requiring significant cognitive resources is necessary and you authorize it, it may be performed via a global service such as ChatGPT — but never stored outside Québec nor reused for training. You can also choose to fully restrict access so models are hosted only in Québec, per your institutional policies.
We operate in compliance with Law 25 and, before any out-of-province transfer, we conduct a Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) to ensure required protections are met.
