ProductivIA

Useful, local, and responsible AI

ProductivIA is born from a simple conviction: technology makes sense when it uplifts people and strengthens the autonomy of communities. We want AI that speaks our language, respects our realities, and supports those who create, teach, care, build businesses, and serve the public here at home.

Our ambition is twofold: make AI immediately useful in daily life, and do so responsibly. This is the spirit guiding both ProductivIA (for the professional world) and GoIA (for the general public).

Our vision

Taking back the reins of AI, together.

AI becomes a true lever when it aligns with the culture, language, and goals of the people who use it. We build tools that adapt to your context—rather than the other way around: a Québec cultural layer, a task-oriented approach, and multi-model governance to choose the right AI “engine” for each need.

public

GoIA

the privacy-respecting, free, public AI

A French-speaking companion rooted in local culture, free and ad-free. Personal use cases are prioritized; the service doesn’t require handing your data to third parties and reminds users of good practices when a request touches sensitive topics.

hub

ProductivIA

AI in service of organizations

A suite of task-oriented tools for small businesses, education, and public institutions. Simple forms, ready-to-use deliverables, and organization-wide rules applied everywhere (tone, notices, priorities). Multi-model governance to balance relevance, costs, and sovereignty.

Matania: sovereign orchestration

Our orchestration layer Matania, developed in Québec, handles your requests on the front line. Enriched with Québec data and practices, it reflects our realities, language, and values. When a task requires it, we switch to world-class models — in full transparency.
Hosted in our infrastructures in Eastern Québec, Matania offers proximity service that is performant and aligned with our standards.

AI servers

Assembled in Québec and equipped with the ProductivIA software suite and private models, our servers can be hosted in our facilities or directly on your premises to meet your needs for autonomy and digital independence.
Designed to combine performance, security, and sovereignty, they provide a turnkey solution adapted to Québec realities.

By emphasizing digital sovereignty, our goal is to equip Québec with local, scalable artificial intelligence fully adapted to its needs—while preserving control, transparency, and integrity.

What we stand for

AI serving people—not the other way around.

diversity_1

Culture and language

We insist on AI that understands our words, references, and nuances. Adding a local cultural layer prevents erasure: it names reality better, meets needs more precisely, and respects social and historical contexts.

favorite

Dignity and care

Sensitive use cases demand tact and prudence. We prioritize useful, nuanced answers that never confine people and always leave room for the human: reliable information, clear limits, and reminders of support resources where relevant.

handshake

Solidarity and social justice

Access is a duty, not a luxury. Offering a free public service follows this principle: share the tool, reduce friction, and open the door to those who need it most.

bolt

Frugality and efficiency

Choose the right model for the right task, limit footprint and costs, and avoid over-engineering. AI should accelerate what truly matters—without turning every simple action into a complex project.

How we act

Clear principles, concrete steps.

tune

A cultural layer from here

Our tools inject language, style, and local-context guidance into the requests sent to models. Result: more relevant, more natural answers that better match the expectations of users here.

multiple_stop

Multi-models, simple governance

Multiple AI models can be used depending on the task. We prioritize relevance and control: quality, costs, localization, and internal policy. The end user has nothing to configure; the organization stays in charge.

rule

Rules applied everywhere

Tone, notices, priorities, inclusivity: the rules defined by the organization apply across all tools. Fewer touch-ups, more consistency, and better brand or mission coherence.

lock

Respect for data and people

Minimalist approach, local control whenever possible, and clarity about the tool’s limits. We prioritize useful information and transparency about how it works rather than opaque promises.

AI that reflects who we are

“If AI is to be everywhere, let it first be in the right place: in service of people, knowledge, and communities.”

We believe in a Québec that commands its digital destiny: proud of its language, demanding on ethics, open to the world, and focused on concrete action. We want to build artificial intelligence that reflects who we are—our challenges, our values, our culture—and that serves the people here first.

We invite you to join us in this collective endeavor:

  • Witness our progress—from vertical models toward global AI.
  • Share your needs, your challenges, your content.
  • Help build, together, a Québec digital ecosystem that is respectful, high-performing, and solidaristic.

Tomorrow’s AI isn’t a distant future: it’s a project we can start today, here. Let’s remain ambitious, pragmatic, and united—because this course, we chart it with you, for you, for our Québec.

ProductivIA is part of the PVP Media group.

PVP Media designs and operates digital platforms and content serving the public and organizations. Our spirit has remained the same since the beginning: utility, frugality, respect for people and places. ProductivIA and GoIA continue this path: producing open, concrete, human solutions locally.

PVP Media was founded in 1987 by Vic Pelletier, under the name Productions Vic Pelletier, and gradually evolved into a digital media and production conglomerate.
Over the years, PVP Media has become a benchmark player in Québec and internationally, earning more than 23 awards and 62 nominations for its documentary productions, animated series, and digital content.
Recently, the film SuperKlaus received a Goya Awards nomination for Best Animation, confirming the international reach of our projects.
This recognition reflects not only acknowledged expertise but also a capacity to innovate within demanding creative industries.

Today, PVP Media provides ProductivIA with a foundation of expertise, experience, and resources. ProductivIA therefore does not start from scratch: it relies on the continuity of a strong media house and decades of experimentation and reach, to carry an ambitious vision of credible, well-rooted Québec AI.
